Accessibility statement

This website was built to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever you're navigating with, and asking for help should never be the hardest part of getting it.

What the site does

• Works with keyboard navigation alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link
• Respects your system's reduced motion setting; animations simply switch off
• Uses semantic headings, labelled forms and descriptive alt text throughout
• Maintains WCAG AA colour contrast for text, even on the brightest lime highlights, and stays readable at 200% zoom and on 360px-wide screens

The venue itself

Sessions run from a ground-floor room at the Beacon Community Rooms on Stockport Road, with step-free access from the street and an accessible toilet. Walking sessions in the park are always optional: anything we'd do on foot can happen at the table instead.

If your teenager has sensory or access needs, tell me and we'll set things up around them: quieter time slots, lower light, a seat by the door, breaks whenever they're needed. Adjustments are a normal part of the job, not a favour.
